Humankind. Tapping in on a big subject.))))

Look closely. Click on the image to enlarge it. The boy's shirt says: "BrillANT Man". Missing an "i". Missing an "i".
((A very common sight though, I must say, around Europa-- strange combinations of English words strewn across t-shirts, bags, and beyond...))
And, since this was Pompeii and he was very much Italian, he probably didn't know.
Since the Ancients walked Pompeii and even before then, humankind has been what it is.
Ok. Don't worry, I'm aware. That's the biggest presumption and a huge huge overstatement/blanket statement without any boundaries stated. Sorry. Ok. :) What I mean is, :)...
I guess humans, although they/we are capable of so much, we often do and are so little in our doing and being. Even like his shirt illustrates, we are capable of wearing and being brilliance, but instead we are just ants. :)
An existential frustration and today's musing. BASTA, as the Italians say. Enough tapping into a monstrous subject. And on St. Patrick's Day no less when a historical figure is to be remembered and green is to be worn and pints are to be drunk. :)

I miss you.
Your presence rings in my heart.
We meet every Monday, like clockwork, for the Monday Poets' Society, we meet and meet, and we will be meeting when you return. We will be there. We have grown, but we are so regular. It is so good, so good. Last Monday was the first Monday in a long time that we didn't meet, and I didn't know what to do with myself.
It will be so fresh when you come back.
By the way, Basta was one of my favorite things to say. it is so helpful, no?
