((Good Earth)). The one and only.

I just received a much-appreciated package from home with two clear plastic-baggies full of HEAVEN. :)

Si chiama (It's called): "Good Earth Tea".

The moment I received the package a co-worker of mine, British Mike Beech, was around and I gave him a bag of joy. He just stopped in to where I am at the moment using the computer to say that it really is DIVINE.

So... props to Santa Cruz, California born and grown MAGIC. Props to the good earth that makes Good Earth.

Although... I had stolen some tea bags from my parents' pantry before jaunting off to Italia this summer, and they were probably between 3 and 5 years old. (My parents enjoy it, but aren't as appreciative as I am.) IT DEFINITELY needed honey and had kind of a strange, earthy taste. Not pleasurable. Not how the real deal is. Don't make the same mistake.

THE FLAVOR: A mix of herbal and green and black tea delight that is so full of flavor, no honey is needed. Cheers. It's purchase-able at most grocery stores in the states (I recommend the Original Blend and the Fruit Spice ones)-- and, I just discovered, because Mike liked it so much he wanted to buy some for himself, Amazon.com even sells it! :) ...here is their website.

THE QUOTES: Every teabag is accompanied by a quote on the reverse side of the logo tag. (I am a lover of fortune cookies because of the often-cheesy, but always-enjoyable quotes that accompany them and similiarly...) I absolutely LOVE peeling back the paper of a (they're individually wrapped) tea bag, plopping it into a cup, reading the quote (and in contrast to fortune cookies' quotes, they are 9 times out of 10 impactful and thought-provoking-- and even highlighting historical figures that I end up researching later on!), and sipping the wonder (it's even delicious when it's cold! :)...) For example, this Rodin quote (a well-acclaimed sculptor whose museum I visited in Paris with my parents-- the Kiss is the most famous-- along with the Thinker... POWERFUL and STRIKING WORK.) is a good example of the types of people and the words that are shared...

(ah, all these photos of the tea cups and quotes i was able to download from their website to show you all. :)...)
