The Question of the Hour. >>>>

A photo of a stone wall in Reggio Emilia...
I took it months ago, not knowing its timeliness would find me...
The two worded question that says it all.

<> <> <> <><> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <>

This has been my year of WAITING.
My year of waiting
- in line
- in line
- in line
:)
- for word
- to know
- to let go
- to understand
- to learn
- for a sign
- for a phonecall
- for an email
- for seemingly nothing to happen
- for no reason
- purposelessly

And...
The waiting continues. I have no idea what happens next.

I have this habbit, whenever I text message my (American) friend Katie (who lives near Urbino here in Italia who is my soul friend from Greece),
that I close the text message with a line that begins with "Cheers to---" and ends with something like what I wrote to her today: "-- uncontrollable winds/fate".

I like the wind.
Like with the moon, I have a relationship with it now. I used to hate it. Literally-- once upon a time when I didn't like how it messed my hair up when I stood on sea cliffs. Now, however, I crave and adore its tossling. I deeply appreciate the way it moves me. I have tried of late to control control control. To research research research. To plan plan plan. But... in the end... it's all about the Wind... letting go and giving in to what necessities/desires/needs/unexpected series of events and relationships present themselves.

So...
Cheers to the Question of the Hour.

The wind blows where it wants. You hear the noise it makes, but you don't know where it's coming from or where it's going. That's the way it works for everyone who is born from the Wind.
